The BGT Xperience

A Sutton singer has sailed through to the final of Britain’s Got Talent.

Wayne Woodward, 21, will bid for glory in Saturday night’s grand final after he triumphed in the second semi-final last night.

Audiences took to the singer’s cover of Frank Sinatra’s ‘That’s Life’ and voted him through to the last round of the ITV talent show in first place – meaning he skipped the tense panel vote between second and third, later won by stuntman Alex Magala.

Mr Woodward, of West Sutton, said earlier this month that he wanted to celebrate Sinatra’s 100th birthday this year by covering some of the swing legend’s most iconic tunes.
